This is my 3rd Stanley broom in 47 years of marriage. I love the slender brush head, because it goes under pretty much all of my low sitting furniture when most other brooms will not. I like the fact that the brush head does not send dirt flying all over the place because of flimsy, too-flexible strands in the brush. As for the new design of a screw-together handle, I will have to see how that works over time. The firm metal, single handle worked very well. Because I have not had a new Stanley broom in 25 years, I honestly don't remember if the strands in this brush head are more flimsy/too-flexible than the ones in the past. My old one is so well used, I really can't compare the two. This is a pricey broom, so I truly hope this broom lasts as long as my two prior Stanley brooms did.

Black Slender Broom is slim and small, and fits nicely in the tight space between my refrigerator and wall. I bought this broom because the website states that it picks up dust. However, the bristles are rough and not split at the ends! I have not yet tried to sweep dust, but I'll find out soon enough.

My sister was a Stanley Home Dealer. I bought my 1st broom thru her 50 yrs ago. Absolutely love this broom..other brooms don’t measure up! I tried Fuller Brush broom…bristles are too slick, hate it! Keep this broom coming

I was upset when I saw the size but when I used it it really works and fit in every space around the house. You will be surprise of all the dust came out.

I had these brooms back in the early 70’s. The bristles never broke down or spread out like todays brooms you buy in the big box stores. I was so happy to find out you could still purchase them. I bought 2 because they did break in half by the stem where you inserted the broom head into the handle if you tapped them a little to hard. They did improve that part so the breaking shouldn’t happen. I broke my Mom’s one time she was so upset with me because Stanley home parties were no existent. Someone was always having a Stanley party back in the day.

I've had a Stanley black broom for years and it is still going strong. The new one that I just received is for my daughter who will get it for Christmas and will take it to Lawrence, Kansas to use in her home. The broom is strong and stands to do a job on any type of flooring with amazing results picking up the finest of lint and dust.
I am very pleased with the Stanley products.

Have an old Stanley broom I inherited and still use .I had to replace a porch broom made of straw that was supposed to be sturdy and long lasting but wasn't so I ordered a Stanley Home broom for my house and my inherited broom is on the porch and will probably outlast me. They are so efficient and tough.My whole family had them and worked there yrs. ago.

It does sweep up pretty good. I do not feel that it is of the same quality as the one that has been passed down from my grandmother, to my mother, and has been in my home now for the past 15 years. I believe my grandmother got her Stanley kitchen broom in the late 60’s early 70’s. I still use it and my daughter wants it when I am done with it.

I’ve been buying Stanley brooms since I got married 38 years ago. This is my third broom. Seems like the handle is a little thinner. Not sure I like that as well!!!

I love the Stanley broom. We’ve had one for years and they hold up well. I’m not impressed with the two piece handle. I wish it was either a one piece handle or a snap in place type handle as the two piece comes apart every now and then.

Way back my mom was a Stanley Home Demonstrator and ever since growing up with this kind of broom I can use no other.. I love it and always order a replacement head. Actually I have 3 of them, one for the main floor, one for the cellar and one for the garage..

I like it. It’s not like the one I had before. I am not sure if I ordered the wrong one, but it’s ok. I am willing to try this broom out. The brush was a dark brown with yellow on the top of the broom. It may not be around anymore.

I had they old Stanley broom for over 25 years, my kids say I hang onto old looking things to long...!! The name had worn off and could not see any letters to talk me what I got my favorite broom. I managed to find 2 unscripted fossilized letters, now I have a lovely new broom, but since there's still an inch of broom left, I keep it on my patio to sweep up, maybe I'll get another 25 out of it LOL..

The broom itself is fine. The broom handle used to be 1 piece and is now a 2 piece unit. It tends to fall apart. I have tried hitting the handle on concrete a few times. That may have helped.

This picks up everything (it doesn’t just spread it like others do) and nothing sticks so the broom lasts forever!
